BULLETIN: No Live School on Tuesday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: District 56 will utilize an e-learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th.

No students will report to campuses and all school events will be cancelled. E-learning assignments and due dates will be issued after students return to school. If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal.

AND, District 55:

In District 55, all district schools and offices will be closed. Teachers will post assignments for students to complete; there will be no live Google Meets classes. Chromebooks will be sent home with students (4K-5th).

E-Learning means that teachers will post the assignments for students to complete at their own pace; there will be no live instruction. The assignments will be uploaded to Google Classroom or emailed to the students by 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday. TCS (in Clinton) will utilize an e-learning day tomorrow, January 9th due to the weather forecast. Students will not report to school but rather complete assignments provided to them by their teachers and will have until Friday to complete their work. There will be no after school events tomorrow.
 
Summit (in Clinton) will be closed tomorrow due to the threat of high winds, so tomorrow will be an ELearning day. Assignments will be sent home today and or posted.
 
PIEDMONT TECH: Just announced it will operate virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 9, and resume normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
