Clinton Little Devils Awards Banquet Set with Special Guest Ricky Vance

The Clinton Little Devils will host the awards banquet for the 2023 season at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church Christian Life Center, 303 E. Centennial Street.

We will celebrate our cheerleaders and football players on the 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U teams, the team moms and coaches with a meal and trophies.  There will be an offensive MVP and a defensive MVP from each team.  There will also be a Ricky Vance outstanding achievement award trophy given to one player from each team.  The player selected will be a dedicated student that has maintained an A-B average this school year, a leader on the field of play who keeps his team together and practice our no bullying policy.  The Ricky Vance outstanding achievement award will be presented by Clinton native and Clinton High School alumni (1986) Ricky Vance.  Ricky was the quarterback of the 1985 Clinton High School state championship team.  After high school and multiple offers from D1 schools, Ricky chose to play major league baseball for the Montreal Expos.  After ending his career in baseball, Ricky moved to Maryland where he is currently a car salesman at a big dealership in Virginia.  Ricky is married to Candy Vance.  He will be coming home to present the awards to four deserving Clinton Little Devils. The Vance’s are big supporters of the Clinton Little Devils by helping spread the name of the organization around Washington, DC, Maryland, and the Virginia area.  We ask the Clinton community to come out and celebrate with us, enjoy a great meal, and see the future of Clinton grow.  Tickets are $12.00 per person.

“I want to say thank you to the Clinton community as I am appreciative of all your support throughout the 2023 season.  I want to give a special thanks to the team moms: 6U – Shequita Moore and Jackie Sanders; 8U – Brittany Davis and Tequila Simpson; 10U – Montoya Taylor and LaShunda Vance; 12U – Holly Merchant and Holland Merchant (team dad). The team moms and dad played very important roles in the 2023 season by making sure homework was completed, helped with any injuries, brought water for practices and during games as well as being a great support to the coaches and his staff.”
