It’s the voices that you’re hearing
The voices that make you second guess your decisions
The toxic voices that keep you stuck
The constant negative words
Every time you have an amazing idea
Slowly killed by the opinions of others
It’s the noises that you hear
The sounds of people
That completely confuse you
It’s the banter of the immature
That will never grow beyond their box
That makes you confused
The rhythm of words
That have no true connection to anything
Only aimed at killing your thoughts
The misery emitting like a stench of death
From people who are only alive on the outside
That taints your nostrils
The pounding of the words
That have no true meaning
That is what is leaving you lost
For the sounds around you
Is where the problems reside
Not within yourself
For what one hears
Will eventually be
What one becomes
The voices will no longer become vile
Because they will soon become your words
For you too are now toxic
Living in a state of mind
Where you are never happy
And nothing is ever right
For it is the voices
The toxic voices
That will eventually destroy you
“Remember, toxic people are just as dangerous as toxic food
Don’t forget to take care of your mind
While you are taking care of your body.”
